Thank you for choosing Orienlu. We are dedicated to bringing authentic Eastern aesthetics, natural materials, and handcrafted  jewelry directly from our artisan studio to your doorstep. Below are the comprehensive details of our shipping operations.

1. Shipping Rates & Free Shipping Threshold

To keep your shopping experience simple and transparent, we offer a straightforward shipping structure:

  • Standard Tracked Shipping: $7.99 USD for all orders under $69 USD.
  • FREE Standard Shipping: Automatically applied to all orders over $69 USD.
  • Note on Outbound Shipping: Shipping fees paid at checkout cover international transit costs from our studio to your address and are strictly non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.

2. Order Processing & Crafting Time

  • Because our unique hairpins and jewelry are  individually handcrafted, inspected, and packaged by hand in our Xi'an artisan studio, please allow 3 to 5 business days  for order processing, quality control, and export packaging.
  • Please note: Orders cannot be canceled, redirected, or expedited once they have passed our 1-hour cancellation window or entered the shipping transit phase.

3. Shipping Areas & Estimated Delivery Times

To ensure your delicate handcrafted items arrive safely,  all orders are dispatched via direct international air express from our Xi'an studio. Final local delivery will be handled by top-tier domestic carriers in your country

Note: Shipping times are estimates and start from the date of shipment. Delivery may take longer during peak shopping seasons (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas), customs checks, extreme weather, or regional postal strikes.

4. Tracking Your Order & Logistics Updates

Once your order ships, you will receive an email containing a tracking number.

💡 Why has my tracking info not updated yet?

As our products are carefully handcrafted and dispatched from our artisan studio in Xi'an, China, it typically takes 3–5 business days for the parcel to travel through  regional transit hubs and undergo export customs processing at the international airport center.

During this initial export transit phase, the tracking status may appear "frozen" or  pending. Please do not worry—your package is safely on its way and the tracking details will refresh as soon as it clears departure airport scans and arrives in your destination country.

5. Duties, Taxes, and Customs

  • Orienlu is an international independent studio; therefore, all orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid).
  • Orienlu is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the sole responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, VAT, etc.).
  • If a package is returned or destroyed due to a refusal to pay local import taxes/VAT, no refunds will be issued.

6. "Delivered" but Missing Packages

If your tracking information shows that your package was "Delivered" but you cannot locate it:

  1. Please check around your property (porch, garage), or with family members, neighbors, or your building’s management office within 48 hours.
  2. Contact your local post office (e.g., USPS) immediately to file a local inquiry.
  3. Once a carrier officially confirms successful delivery to the correct address provided at checkout, Orienlu is no longer legally liable for package theft or misdelivery, and refunds will not be processed.

7. Shipping Guarantee

If your order experiences severe logistics anomalies and has not been delivered within 35 business days (excluding customs clearance inspections or severe weather force majeure), you are eligible to request a full refund or a free replacement.

Please Note: We do not ship to remote regions, overseas territories, island possessions, or sensitive areas (including but not limited to military bases and military postal addresses APO/FPO/DPO) within the aforementioned countries. If an order is placed from any of these restricted locations, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund immediately.
